Rachel Campos-Duffy, Reality TV star turned stay-at-home mom, parenting expert, and author of a new book “Stay Home, Stay Happy,” spoke up for life at a fundraiser for the Tri-County LifeCare Center, a crisis pregnancy center in Osceola, WI.
Rachel, a mother of 5 with #6 soon to arrive, was the guest speaker at a privately hosted fundraiser in Dresser, WI on February 21, 2010. The hosts for the event were Richard and Kris Hartung, who welcomed 55 guests into their home to enjoy hors d’oeuvres, conversation, and Rachel Campos-Duffy’s words support for Life.
Rachel, an unabashed prolife supporter and spokeswoman, encouraged the attendees at the fundraiser to get active in the pro-life movement, by supporting it financially or by volunteering through service.
Rachel’s remarks stressed that the pro-life movement, on a national level, is a growing and vibrant – despite what the media would lead people believe.
Rachel encouraged guests at the event to strongly support the local crisis pregnancy center in Osceola and among other very encouraging comments, said, “The people really doing the work for women have always been the pro-lifers and crisis pregnancy centers like these….”
Rachel has been a guest host on the national talk show, “The View” and recognized parenting expert on AOL’s Parent Dish Blog website.
Rachel Compos-Duffy is married to Sean Duffy, District Attorney of Ashland County and U.S. Congressional candidate for the 7th District of Wisconsin. Rachel and Sean are expecting their 6th child in the first part of April, 2010.
